TINY TOTS

3-4 YEARS

Our Tiny Tots Classes is for our littles of dancers! This class runs for 30 minutes where we dance to popular tunes from favourite tv shows, dance with props all whilst encouraging development in cognitive & fine motor skills, spacial awareness, imagination, and of course introduce them to the world of dance. Dancers can be seen to develop skills in jumping, hopping, basic dance technique, balance and co-ordination.

Tiny Tots have the option of performing in our studio concerts. Dancers will have the opportunity to dance on stage with their teacher in beautiful costumes!

GIGGLE, GROOVE & CLIMB

2-4 YEARS

NEW!

Our Giggle, Groove & Climb Class is our newest class for our tots. Its a 30 minute class where students get to learn tumbling, get to play climb and discover on equipment and of course have a dance to popular songs they all know and love. This class is designed as a bridging course into our Tiny Tots class as it slowly introduces class room structure and development in gross motor skills.

Parents are encouraged to join in this class to help supervise young ones on equipment.

PRESCHOOL

AGES 5-6 YEARS

JAZZ & LYRICAL COMBO

Our Jazz & Lyrical Combo Class teaches students both dynamics of dance; the popular energetic jazz class and our storytelling technique based lyrical. Its a great way to introduce dance to your little one. Students will develop basic techniques of Jazz/Ballet including positions, pointing feet jumps, leaps and turns.

Students in this class will perform both a Lyrical Number and Jazz number in our Mid Year concert and be apart of our Holiday Spectacular in December.

JAZZ & TAP COMBO

NEW!

Our Jazz & Tap Combo Class is our newest class and teaches students both styles of Jazz and Tap. Students will develop basic techniques of Jazz including positions, pointing feet jumps, leaps and turns and are introduced into the world of tap from the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus.

Students in this class will perform both a Tap Number and Jazz number in our Mid Year concert and be apart of our Holiday Spectacular in December.

ACRO CLASS

NEW!

After the success of our Tumble Tots class in 2024, we are introducing a full length class to further develop our dancers who love to be upside down! Students develop flexibility, core strength and co-ordination in this class.

This class can be a stand alone class but we recommend it as a paired class to one of our combo classes to help develop a rounded dancer.

Preschool Students will perform 1 Acro styled number in the Mid Year Concert and be apart of our Holiday Spectacular in December.

STUDIO CLASSES

AGES 7-18 YEARS

JAZZ CLASS

Full of character and style! A great class choice for beginners and experienced dancers. Students learn a mix of modern and traditional jazz steps and styles and learn to kick, leap, turn and jump.

Students will perform 1 Jazz styled number with there class in the Mid year and Christmas Concert.

LYRICAL CLASS

An emotional and story telling based style of dance. Student in this class will learn how to dance softly whilst learning how to interpret music with their movement. Students learn a mix of modern ballet through this class.

Students will perform 1 Lyrical styled number with there class in the Mid year and Christmas Concert.

TAP CLASS

New in 2025, the studio now offers tap via the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus.

Tap teaches students to listen to music and co-ordinate their feet accordingly. With a mix of barre and routine work tap is full of noise and fun!

Students will perform 1 Lyrical styled number with there class in the Mid year and Christmas Concert.

ACRO CLASS

For those who love to be upside down! Acro is one of our most popular classes with in the studio and is full of fun. We follow the The Acrobatic Dance Association Syllabus where student learn to bend, tumble and stretch!

Students will perform 1 Acrobatic styled number with there class in the Mid year and Christmas Concert.

CONCERT SOLOS

Students have the opportunity to perform solos in the Studios Mid Year and End of Year Concerts. Concert Solos are a great stepping stone to building confidence to join the competition team.

Included in this package is: 1 Weekly Private Lesson, Enrolment into the Studio Technique Class, Costume Hire for al Events & Private Time Slot on Photo Day

COMPETITION TEAM

We love to offer our student new opportunities to learn & perform in. Students can compete in local eisteddfods and competitions representing the studio. Its a great way to expand a dancers knowledge and experience.

TECHNIQUE CLASS

For students looking to continuing growing and improving their technique, we have opened an extra class to work on conditioning, strength work, flexibility but also to work on turns, leaps & jumps. This class is open to all ages from minis up but is a class where we break a sweat. All Pom and competition students are automatically enrolled in this class. Students are welcome to drop in to this class for an extra skill boost.

POM SQUAD

Pom Dance is primarily Jazz based but is heavy in formations sharp lines and energy- and yes you dance with Pom Poms! In 2025 we have updated our syllabus to include an extension

acro class which is mentioned on the side. Students learn teamwork, performance skills and of course technique. This year our pom class will appear as 2 classes on the timetable- Pom & Technique Class as all pom students will be enrolled in this. Don’t worry they both occur on the same lesson day. Our Pom Squad will have the opportunity again to cheer on the Everyday Lions Running events held across Devonport through out the year. In 2025 Our Pom Squad will have the opportunity to compete in the Infinite Spirit All Stars Competition held in Hobart in November. This is a competition for Cheer, Pom and Dance. Pricing and further information will be released during the year!

*Competition Team Members will have the chance to be

involved also.

POM SQUAD EXTENSION:

Pom has an option to add an acro class to the class package. Students who are enrolled in Pom and Acro will learn skills they can apply to their routines such as tumbling passes etc. This class appears on our timetable as Intermediate Acro.
